General Meeting of All Atheists, Humanists, Secularists and Freethinkers in Nigeria

The Atheist Society of Nigeria (ASN) proposes to have a meeting of Atheists, Humanists, Secularists, Agnostics and Freethinkers in Nigeria as follows:

Date: 24th September, 2017.
Venue: National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Time:  3pm to 5pm.

As most of you are aware, we have registered Atheist Society of Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission on the 10th of March, 2017. The board consists of 9 members drawn from various regions of the country and it currently has a 5 member executive committee. These people have piloted the affairs of the society so far during which period they created a functional unit which includes volunteers in different divisions such as Social Media and Web teams.  We have also opened a bank account and announced membership registration which is available online on our website. http://www.atheist.org.ng/accounts/registration/

At this point, we want to bring in all stakeholders in Nigeria to be part of the organisation and make contributions and opinions that will help grow the organisation and also help in it's management. We plan to have a national convention in October (to be announced soon), this meeting will discuss details of the October event and help us to incorporate ideas from stakeholders.

Agenda:
  • Present a report of how we got here
  • Inputs and contributions for building up ASN
  • Discuss the 2017 National Convention

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

  1. Nice one, the notice is too short for some us living outside Lagos. All the best.
